What is Beach Drum Shed?

Beach Drum Shed is an outdoor drumming group created by, Camellia A. Kies. You can participate in the group by attending a LIVE event or sharing a video on Instagram showcasing your drumming skills and outdoor location. ALL drum videos and pictures must be outside.

LIVE events are held at Huguenot Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Florida at 2:00 PM EST every Sunday.

Bring your drums or hand percussion to join in on the fun.

The Beach Drum Shed Instagram Page is quickly growing. The first post was made back in May 2017 and today the page has close to 7K followers. #beachdrumshed

Beach Drum Shed has been hashtaged close to 1K times on Instagram. People in Spain, Australia, HongKong, France etc. have used the hashtag #beachdrumshed in hopes of getting featured on the Beach Drum Shed Instagram. The hashtag allows me to see how many people are using the name and promoting the company.

Group drumming is different, you have to listen and react to the feel and the music around you.

BEACH DRUM SHED

Beach Drum Shed started the summer of 2017 in Pensacola, Florida. Camellia Akhamie Kies had the idea to take her drums to the beach after several of her neighbors in her apartment complained about her drumming. Drumming outside was her way to practice with out disturbing others. Little did she know that would turn into a worldwide drumming group. She features drummers from all over the world now sharing good drumming vibes outside.
